The Rust Age

This is what I found when I opened up the damp, crumbling paneling and plaster (because I'm sure you're all dying to know) -
I think I see where the problem is.

    Wow Looks like the underside of our old basement sink. Shouldn't be too difficult to replace, at least.

    Was it wrapped in a brazillion layers of duct tape?

    This plumbing contained no duct tape, shocking! My theory is that the people who owned this home over its 100+ years of life just stopped using rooms that had problems, so they walked away from this bathroom and never came back.
